Wow, We were very lucky to get through just 3 days of lockdown. It was great to hear that the children continued their reading when they were at home. ]
The children love finding the high frequency words in the books, writing them down, and spelling them out loud. It's such a great way to help them with the new words. They are doing amazing alphabetic work as they find letters from their name, say the name and sound of that letter. Some of them are still writing them down to help them as well.
Keep up the great work of reading with your children and talking about the books they read. They love it when they earn a sticker on their chart.
So much amazing learning happening. It looks like you guys are getting really good at using the alphabet card to help you with your letters. Maybe you can share your great reading skills with some students from Room 7.
